Matcha is a green tea from Japan, distinguished by its intense flavor, deep green color and rich aromatic profile. Its production is different than in the case of traditional teas - before harvesting, the tea bushes are shaded, which increases the chlorophyll content in the leaves. The leaves are then carefully collected, dried and ground into a fine powder.
