N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) it is an acetylated form of the amino acid L-cysteine, which is a source of thiol groups –SH, which show antioxidant properties. Cysteine is an endogenous amino acid. It is a part of the proteins structures. It has been proven that N-acetyl cysteine shows strong health promoting properties.

Certainly, the most important function of cysteine is the fact that it is a precursor to glutathione – one of the most important antioxidants. Among others, glutathione supports the removal of toxins from our body system, regenerates damaged proteins and supports the reconstruction of other antioxidants.

Moreover, NAC shows mucolytic properties (makes the mucus fluent and reduces its viscosity), so it is beneficial for the respiratory system. Other advantages of NAC are: improving immunity, minimizing the effects of liver damage due to poisoning, beneficial impact on the lipid profile, accelerating muscle recovery.

In our store, we offer dietary supplements containing N-acetyl cysteine in the optimal and safe dose, which effectively increases the level of glutathione and shows a number of health promoting benefits.
