Description
  • Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract
  • Natural source of 5-hydroxytryptophan
  • Vegetable capsules

Suppcount 5- HTP is a dietary supplement that contains 5-hydroxytryptophan derived from Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract. The product is suitable for people on a vegan and vegetarian diet.

5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a chemical compound produced in the body from L-tryptophan. Used in dietary supplements, 5-HTP is obtained from the seeds of African black bean (Griffonia simplicifolia), which is its richest source.

5-HTP is a direct precursor of serotonin – a neurotransmitter commonly referred to as the "happiness hormone". The proper level of serotonin plays a key role in the regulation of many important processes in our body, related to, inter alia, with well-being, sleep, digestion or appetite.

5-HTP easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and is very well absorbed. In this respect, it exceeds the traditional form of L-tryptophan, which meets more restrictions before conversion into serotonin.

To sum up, Suppcount 5-HTP is a dietary supplement recommended for supplementation with the active ingredients of the preparation.
