N-methylphenethylamine – a neuromodulator which is a derivative of phenethylamine, occurring naturally in the human body. Structurally, it a position isomer of amphetamine. As an antagonist of hTAAR1 receptors, it has a significant stimulant effect on the body, thereby mimicking adrenaline activity.

It exerts strong energising properties, boosts energy levels, reduces fatigue and may increase dopamine levels. Because of that, it is a frequent additive to preworkout supplements  that is responsible for promoting physical performance and increasing levels of motivation.

N-methylphenethylamine can be found in fat burners. It provides energy in an extremely difficult fat reducing diet and may also accelerate metabolism. Some sources indicate that N-methylphenethylamine curbs the appetite.

This compound has a short half-life and that is why it can be expected to have a rather short period of activity in the body. Because of that, it will be effective especially when consumed quickly before training.
