Horse Chestnut (Horse Chestnut extract) (Aesculus hippocastanum) - an extract of horse chestnut is a source of bioactive compounds: flavonoids (such as quercetin, rutin), tannins, coumarins and saponins triterpene. The extract is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic and anti-bleeding (by the action of sealing the cell membrane of blood vessels), improves cardiovascular health, in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, the formation of varicose veins. The extract is recommended for use by athletes, but also for people having sedentary life style.
