The fucus extract - is an extract of the seaweed of the northern seas (including the Baltic) bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus), of which a medicinal raw material is thallus, which is an excellent source of iodine, and other minerals which are approx. 15% of its composition. In addition, polysaccharides, vitamins of the B group, beta-carotene, zeaxanthin and alginic acid. The content of iodine derived from seaweed thallus is a minimum of 0.01% and has a significant impact on the functioning of thyroid hormones (thyroxine and triiodothyronine), regulating body temperature.
Deficiency of iodine in the body is the cause of hypothyroidism, the thyroid gland hypertrophy, obesity and delayed mental and physical development. The extract of bladderwrack used in the supplementation of diet supplements of iodine, is
a component of diet, vitamin and mineral and detoxicating supplements.
Dosage dependent on the concentration of the raw material and the iodine content.
