What is Chlorophyllin?

Chlorophyllin is a derivative of chlorophyll – the green colourant present in plants. It is obtained in the process of alkaline hydrolysis by splitting off phytol and chlorophyll. The difference between chlorophyllin and chlorophyll also lies in the replacement of magnesium as the central atom for copper. Chlorophyllin is much more stable, it is more resistant to light and pH changes.

Chlorophyllin can potentially prevent anaemia and support red blood cell production, thanks to which it helps to distribute oxygen more efficiently. It can also be helpful in removing excess heavy metals from the organism, preventing the body from their toxicity and from the damage of important structures. It exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, inhibits TNF-alpha, and neutralises excess free oxygen radicals. Moreover, it supports the functioning of the digestive system by stimulating intestinal peristalsis and modulating the content of the microbiome thanks to its antimicrobial properties.

Chlorophyllin can be found in supplements offered by muscle-zone.pl.
