4-hydroxyisoleucine is an amino acid gained from fenugreek seeds having an activity of insulin, the anabolic hormone which is involved in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Acting on beta-cells of the pancreas, it increases insulin secretion, making the muscle tissue more sensitive for its action, thus preventing insulin resistance and shows anti-diabetes action. Insulin is a major anabolic hormone taking an active part in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. This anabolic potential is used in training and practising competitive sports.
The sports supplementation 4-hydroxyisoleucine is used for the transport of amino acids, glucose (reducing its availability to fat cells) and creatine into the muscle cells. Increases muscle anabolism influencing the aesthetics of the silhouette and fat reduction.
Dosage: Doses commonly used in supplementation: 50-300 mg per day with meals containing carbohydrates and / or creatine
