Aliness Natural vitamin E is a dietary supplement containing vitamin E of natural origin in the form of D-α-tocopheryl acetate. The preparation is aimed primarily at strengthening the body's antioxidant defense, general health prophylaxis and improving the condition of hair, skin, and nails.
The term vitamin E includes 8 compounds with a similar chemical structure – tocopherols and tocotrienols. Vitamin E belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins. It is necessary for the proper functioning of the body and therefore it must be provided with diet or supplementation.
Protection against oxidative stress
Vitamin E is one of the strongest natural exogenous antioxidants. It reacts with free oxygen and peroxide radicals, effectively inactivating them and breaking free radical chain reactions. The excess of free radicals generates a state of oxidative stress that leads to damage to cellular structures, including DNA. Oxidative stress also contributes to the development of civilization diseases (including those related to the circulatory system) and degenerative diseases.
"Vitamin of youth"
Oxidative stress also leads to accelerated skin aging. Increased formation of free radicals occurs, among others, under the influence of environmental pollution (exhaust, cigarette smoke) and UV radiation. Vitamin E can penetrate deep into the lipid barrier of the skin, where it shows its activity – thanks to the strengthening of cell membranes, it prevents water loss and also accelerates skin regeneration.
To sum up, Aliness Natural vitamin E is a natural food supplement recommended in order to enrich the diet with vitamin E, improve the overall well-being of the body, slow down the visible effects of skin aging and as an element of the prevention of civilization diseases.
To further strengthen the antioxidant barrier against free radicals, it is also worth adding vitamin C and provitamin A – β-carotene to the diet or supplementation. These components show a synergistic effect of antioxidant activity with vitamin E.
