DLux Infant Vit. D Oral Spray DLux Infant Vit. D Oral Spray

BetterYou DLux Infant Daily Vitamin D Oral Spray is a preparation designed for infants need vitamin D3 for the proper growth of the skeletal system. Specially developed formula and convenient method of administration cause that the active substance, bypassing the digestive system, goes directly into the bloodstream, which enables it to reach target cells efficiently, without the risk of returning along with the food contents.

Vitamin D3, otherwise known as cholecalciferol, is a compound with a key effect on bone mineral density. Its main activity includes intensification of absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its recovery from the renal tubules, from which it then goes to the bone tissue, where it is responsible for proper mineralization. Recent scientific reports also support the promising immunomodulatory role of vitamin D.

The proper development of the child's skeleton
Practically every parent, regardless of their child's age, tries to provide him or her with the best possible development conditions. Since the content of D and K vitamins in the milk of breastfeeding women is too low to cover the daily demand of a child, it is necessary to ensure their supplementation because they are crucial for maintaining the health of a small child. The product offered allows a child-friendly way to supplement shortages of one of these Vitamins.

Vitamin D is a compound produced in the skin, liver and kidneys of adults. Children, due to too little exposure to the sun's rays (risk of overheating or burns) and incomplete efficiency of enzymatic mechanisms (immaturity of the liver and kidneys), are not able to produce enough of it for their own use. Hence the recommendation to deliver cholecalciferol from the outside.

It is primarily necessary for the proper absorption of calcium and bone mineralization. The infant period is a time of intensive growth of the musculoskeletal system. Deficiencies of vitamin D can lead to rickets, which is the result of too low calcium deposition in the skeleton in relation to the demand. Rickets is manifested by distortions of the pelvic bones, sternum and ribs; convulsions or prolonged muscle cramps may also occur. This is not any different with the bones of the skull, which under the influence of softening may be considerably deformed.

It is often forgotten that the teeth are also part of the skeletal system. Providing an effective dose of cholecalciferol will certainly support the development of normal child teeth.

Support for the immunity of children
Seemingly harmless viral diseases may turn to be very inconvenient for both children and parents. Constant crying, raised temperature, vomiting, diarrhea – all of these symptoms give sleepless nights and are extremely stressful. Therefore, adequate dietary support may slightly reduce the chance of infection.

Scientists' research clearly showed that the supply of vitamin D reduces the incidence of viral infections. It is suggested that this is due to the action of para hormonal cholecalciferol, which is to stimulate the cells of the immune system to fight the ongoing inflammatory process caused by the microorganism.

Other actions of the vitamin
Hygiene of the nervous system is important especially in the early stages of human life when it is subjected to processes of continuous growth and development. Any negligence leading to disturbance in its development often takes its toll in adulthood. Vitamin D has also proven to show a possible protective role against the death of nerve cells. This is due to the regulation of the metabolism of calcium cations, whose excessive concentration in the extracellular fluid, and the subsequent inflow into their interior results in the triggering of programmed neuronal death and function disorders.

It was also observed that vitamin D deficiency may be associated with dermatological problems. Atopic dermatitis is a condition that affects infants as well and is manifested in redness, itching and scaling. Immunomodulatory properties of cholecalciferol may be of key importance in preventing the development of this disease entity.

In conclusion, BetterYou DLux Infant Daily Vitamin D Oral Spray is a convenient preparation for the youngest, containing the optimal dose of vitamin D3, which does not only support the normal growth of bones and teeth but also shows immunomodulatory action.

Vitamin D

Information

Vitamin D belongs to fat soluble vitamins, occurs in three forms: calciferol (vitamin D1) ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), it is formed under the action of sunlight for at least 15 minutes per day. In the absence of sunlight it should be administered in the diet in the form of fish oil (Vitamin A + D3) and fish oils. It is responsible for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It is the building substance of bone tissue particularly necessary during pregnancy, childhood, and for athletes. It is a component of dietary supplements and nutrients among competetive athletes. Deficiency of vitamin D causes children growth inhibition, and rickets.
For adults - deficiency causes osteomalacia.
Excess
of vitamin D causes headaches, alopecia, nausea, drowsiness, blurred vision, pain in the long bones, the deposition of calcium deposits.
Dosage: 400 IU units during the day.
