You have got questions about the product

Garlicin® is a food supplement which contains highly-concentrated odourless garlic extract containing the most important nutritional component of garlic – allicin.

Scientific research has proven that:

  • the usefulness of garlic for the quality of human life is due to a complex of active nutritional components with the character of bioorganic sulphur compounds, such as: allicin, ajoenes, diallyl sulfides and cysteine sulfoxide derivatives, among which allicin is regarded as the most important
  • along with other sulphur compounds allicin is very active in supporting the immune system
  • garlic has a positive effect on proper functioning of the respiratory system by expanding the bronchi, stimulating mucus secretion and facilitating coughing
  • garlic has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract by improving digestion, facilitating food absorption and assimilation, and on intestinal microflora by helping to rebuild the population of friendly bacteria, e.g. after antibiotic treatment
  • garlic has a positive effect on the proper functioning of the circulatory system by regulating cholesterol levels, normalizing blood glucose levels and reducing blood pressure
  • ajoenes reduce blood platelet aggregation, which additionally supports the functioning of the circulatory system
  • cysteine sulfoxide derivatives have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the prostate in men
  • consumption of high-quality, odourless garlic extract is as valuable as consumption of the fresh plant, but without the pungent and characteristic garlic odour.

Odourless garlic extract

Garlic (Allium sativum) is the most spicy of all onion seasoning. It is highly antibacterial, antifungal, stimulates digestion and metabolism, a positive effect on lipid profile, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases (heart attacks), strengthens immunity. Due to the intense aroma, an odourless garlic extract is used in herbal blends or the form of mono-preparation in the pro-health supplementation.

Allicin (dialysyl thiosulfate) is a chiral compound that contains a sulfur atom. It is produced in garlic (Allium sativum); it is responsible for its characteristic, sharp smell and antibiotic properties. The precursor to allicin is alliin, found in garlic. The process of allicin formation takes place with the participation of the alliinase enzyme, which is activated after damage to garlic cell walls (for example by crushing the cloves).

Allicin has strong antimicrobial properties. It destroys harmful Gram-positive and Gram-negative, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, with efficacy comparable to that of broad-spectrum antibiotics. In addition, it combats viruses, fungi, and parasites. Allicin has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system. By limiting the production of thromboxane, it prevents excessive platelet aggregation and protects against clot formation. It may also lower cholesterol and reduce oxidation of the LDL fraction.

Preparations with allicin are a valued element of general-health prophylaxis. They are recommended to improve immunity, they can also be used as part of the prevention of cardiovascular and circulatory diseases.
