Sanprobi Super Formula is a supplement containing an exceptional composition of 7 live probiotic bacteria strains and two prebiotics: fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and insulin. The preparation is aimed to support and maintain intestinal microflora, help in maintaining intestinal barrier tightness and support the immune system of the organism.

Microorganism cultures inhabiting the lower sections of the digestive tract, its mucosa and the immune system constitute together internal defense system. The preparation’s activity may be divided into 3 levels:

1. Probiotics and prebiotics contained in this supplement contribute to the improvement of the qualitative and quantitative intestinal microbiome and support its functions (limiting pathogen bacteria proliferation and reduction of toxins produced by microorganisms negatively affecting human health).

2. Probiotics which are the components of the preparation cooperate with and support the work of intestinal epithelium. They take part in regulating the functions and composition of intestinal barrier, intensify the production of immunological antibodies and improve mucus secretion, which plays a protective function.

3. Probiotic bacteria cultures stimulate the production and react with the substances identified by the immune system. Such activity fulfills an immunomodulating function, intensifies the synthesis of anti-inflammatory bodies and stimulates immunoglobulin production, which translates into total improvement of the organism’s immunity. 

Probiotics are single or mixed live microorganism cultures, which when applied to human beings exert a positive influence on their organisms, ensuring the balance of the microflora inhabiting the organism.

Probiotics from the group of bacteria Bifidobacterium lactis (W51, W52) positively affect the work of the digestive tract and intestinal defense functions. They reduce the risk of pathogen bacteria invasion, take part in the biosynthesis of vitamin K and vitamins from B group, stimulate mucin synthesis, being the component of mucus and positively influence reduction of inflammations in the organism. Moreover, they decrease endotoxemia, contribute to the improvement of insulin sensitivity, regulate motor activity in the digestive tract and restore proper bowel movement cycle.

Lactobacillus acidophilus W22 reduce pathogen growth (fungi, bacteria) and regulate the work of the immune system. It is worth noting that this kind of lactic acid bacteria improves insulin sensitivity and participates in normalizing lipid metabolism of the organism.

Lactobacillus casei W20 strain synthesizes the compounds reducing the growth of disease-causing bacteria, takes part in pH regulation outside mucous membrane and stabilization of bonds between the cells of intestinal epithelium, thanks to which it strengthens the structure of the intestinal barrier. This kind of microorganisms inhibits also the release of inflammation mediators, including tumor necrosis factor – TNF-α.

Lactobacillus plantarum W21 fulfill the function in regulating metabolism and contribute to proper fermentation and breakdown of carbohydrates provided with food. They also have the properties that reduce the amount of leptin in blood serum. This hormone is responsible for the feeling of satiation and hunger and influences the regulation of metabolic processes and development of obesity. Additionally, as every positive intestinal bacteria strain it has an immunomodulating influence and positively affects intestinal barrier tightness.

Lactobacillus salivarius W24 inhabit the insides of the small intestine and synthesize lactase – an enzyme taking part in digesting lactose. The deficit of this enzyme very often causes certain ailments in the digestive tract after eating unfermented milk products. Moreover, this strain participates in regulating pH outside the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, ensuring by the same token a beneficial living environment for other positive intestinal bacteria.

Probiotic bacteria Lactococcus lactis W19 have very strong immunomodulating properties. They reduce the allergic response of the system, take part in regulating cytokine production and synthesize on their own a natural antibiotic – nisin. This compound is neutral for the organism, but very effective in fighting pathogen bacteria.

Prebiotics are food components that are not digested and positively influence the organism of the host by selective stimulation of the growth and/or the activities of one kind or a restricted number of bacteria inhabiting the colon.

What is Bifidobacterium lactis?

Bifidobacterium lactis is a strain of probiotic bacteria capable of producing lactic acid which are classifed as gram-positive, rod-shaped bacteria. They populate naturally the end part of the ileum and large intestine. Their main function is to compete for nutrients and adhesion sites with pathogenic bacteria. Their properties can be thus desribed as antidiarrhoeal, regenerating the intestinal mucosa, helping the body take in more micronutrients and regulating intestinal peristalsis. 

This bacteria strain has also the ability to produce lactic acid from lactose or other substances which will hinder indirectly (by acidifying the environment) or directly (by killing bacteria) the growth and survival of such pathogenic bacteria as Salmonella or Helicobacter pylori.

What is Lactobacillus acidophilus?

What is Lactobacillus plantarum?

Lactobacillus plantarum is a strain of gram-positive, motionless, rod-shaped bacteria which ferment milk in the intestinal environment. Lactobacillus salivarius is a probiotic bacterium found mainly in the colon, small intestine and vagina, but it has been also detected in the oral cavity. Lactococcus lactis (formerly Streptococcus lactis) are Gram-positive bacteria, capable of conducting lactic fermentation, considered to be the so-called safe microorganisms (GRAS – generally recognizes as safe), possessing probiotic properties.
