In the last batches of Apollo's Hegemony products, another glue was used for lids under the caps. The glue is weaker than previously used, this is why the lid often stays inside the cap when unscrewing the bottle. This does not affect the quality of products because during storage the lid adheres to the bottle and protects its contents.
Apollo's Hegemony Acticissus is a dietary supplement containing the patented ActiCissus® extract from veld grape, standardized for the content of 10% ketosteroids and 1% calcium. The extract was developed by the Sabinsa brand. The product supports the osteoarticular system health, shows analgesic properties and supports regeneration after the injuries.
The veld grape (Cissus quadrangularis) is a plant that has been used in a natural medicine for many years. Its extracts show a lot of pro-health properties. The cissus gained popularity in the phytotherapy of musculoskeletal disorders thanks to the ability to accelerate the regeneration of bones and joints by means of many mechanisms. In addition, the plant has documented anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antioxidant properties. Chemical composition of cissus quadrangularis
Cissus has a wide range of active compounds that determine the unique action of the plant. They are primarily classified as tetracyclic triterpenoid ketosteroids, as well as flavonoids, vitamins C and E and calcium.

Cissus is helpful both as an element of prophylaxis and phytotherapy of osteoporosis - a disease involving the reduction of the bone mass, which increases the susceptibility to fractures and injuries. It was shown that the plant extracts increase bone mineralization, through improving the calcium uptake and by reducing the level of proinflammatory cytokines, including IL-1 and IL-6, involved in the bone remodeling process and increasing their resorption.
In an animal study, the ability of the cissus extract to alleviate the induced chondrocyte lesions (cartilage cells) and to stimulate the cell growth and division was demonstrated. Cissus also affects the production of collagen by fibroblasts. In addition, meta-analyzes of studies conducted on humans have shown that the plant positively affects the regeneration of bone tissue. Regular supplementation with cissus extracts can shorten the time needed to heal a broken bone.

Thanks to the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity and the impact on the joint health, cissus is particularly recommended in sports supplementation. Cissus quadrangularis (Asthisamharaka) - a plant originating from India, a relative of vines. Used in ancient medicine as an anti-inflammatory medicament and bringing the regeneration of bone tissue, it is currently recommended in cases of osteoporosis as well as supporting the bones after sports injuries. It contains a number of active substances (including triterpenoids, alpha-sitosterol). Inhibits the activity of cortisol and affects the development of muscle tissue.
Calcium (element chem. symbol Ca, atomic no. 20, the group of alkaline earth metals) is the basic building substance of bones and teeth, in which stored is 99% of the element, in the form of hydroxylapatite. When building bones and teeth, phosphorus is very important in the right proportion. It is a base-forming element and activator of many enzymes (ATPase) necessary to release the energy of ATP. It has a significant effect on blood clotting and regulates blood pressure and neuromuscular conductivity. Thanks to the reduced permeability of cell membranes, it soothes the symptoms of food allergies. Calcium is actively involved in the metabolism of iron interacts with vitamins A, C and D and phosphorus, magnesium.
