What is ISO 22000?
ISO 22000 is an international standard for food safety management that helps organizations ensure food safety throughout the supply chain. It is a comprehensive approach that integrates the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) with elements of a quality management system, enabling organizations to effectively identify, control and prevent food-related risks. ISO 22000 is used by companies in the food sector to ensure that their products are safe for consumption and comply with international standards.

This includes, among other things, control of raw materials, proper storage and processing of products, and ensuring hygiene in the workplace. Each stage of production is carefully monitored and documented, and any irregularities are immediately identified and corrected.

HACCP CERTIFICATION
At MZ-store, our priority is to provide our customers with products of the highest quality and food safety. That's why we apply the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) in our production process, in accordance with current legislation.
What is HACCP?
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. It is a food safety management system that was developed to identify, evaluate and control food safety hazards. The HACCP system includes a series of procedures designed to prevent health hazards associated with the production, storage and distribution of food.
Legal basis
The implementation of the HACCP system in our plant is based on the applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 29, 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs and the Act of August 25, 2006 on food and nutrition safety (Journal of Laws 2021, item 45).
According to the regulations, any entity engaged in the production, processing, handling, storage or distribution of food is required to apply the HACCP principles in its operations. This is a key element in ensuring food safety and protecting consumer health.
