  • Comprehensive support for the osteoarticular system
  • High bioavailability and duration of action
  • Synergism of both components of the preparation
  • Promotion of proper hemostasis
  • Support for the body’s immunity

MZ D3 + K2MK7 is a dietary supplement containing a synergistic combination of vitamin D3 and K2 MK-7, which comprehensively supports the health of the body, especially the osteoarticular and hematopoietic system.

Vitamin D3 is a compound produced in the human body in a multi-stage process that occurs in the skin, liver, and kidneys. Vitamin D3 is responsible for the proper absorption and metabolism of calcium inside bone tissue, protecting against the destruction of its structure. Cholecalciferol is also being increasingly recognized for immunomodulatory properties.

Vitamin K2 is produced by intestinal bacteria and its main task is to participate in the process of hemostasis. It is thus responsible for the proper course of blood coagulation. Moreover, it supports bone mineralization. Vitamin K2 in the form MK-7 is distinguished by much greater efficiency and a longer half-life than the MK-4 form.

Good condition of bones and joints
Nowadays, the fast pace of life requires adequate mobility. It is difficult to imagine any standstill; hence it is worth knowing how to care for the locomotor system and prevent its diseases. Increased bone fragility very often occurs during mineral deficiencies, and these are associated with insufficient sun exposure that is required for the production of vitamin D3.

This problem mainly affects people living in temperate climates and regions near the Arctic Circle. Therefore, they should implement supplements that will help them replenish deficient substances. Vitamin D3 facilitates the absorption of calcium ions from food and their incorporation into the structure of bone tissue. Vitamin D3 works in synergy with Vitamin K2, however, the latter acts in a slightly different field, because it stimulates the activity of cells producing bone matrix, as well as the transformation of osteocalcin.

On guard of hemostasis
Hemostasis is a blood clotting process involving many components. Vitamin K is necessary for metabolic changes to occur inside liver cells. This includes the activation of protein coagulation factors, without which this process cannot occur properly. Vitamin K deficiency may be visible during minor injuries and prolonged bleeding.

To sum up, MZ D3 + K2MK7 is an effective dose of two vitamins supporting the condition of the osteoarticular and hematopoietic system.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D belongs to fat soluble vitamins, occurs in three forms: calciferol (vitamin D1) ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), it is formed under the action of sunlight for at least 15 minutes per day. In the absence of sunlight it should be administered in the diet in the form of fish oil (Vitamin A + D3) and fish oils. It is responsible for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It is the building substance of bone tissue particularly necessary during pregnancy, childhood, and for athletes. It is a component of dietary supplements and nutrients among competetive athletes. Deficiency of vitamin D causes children growth inhibition, and rickets.
For adults - deficiency causes osteomalacia.
of vitamin D causes headaches, alopecia, nausea, drowsiness, blurred vision, pain in the long bones, the deposition of calcium deposits.
Dosage: 400 IU units during the day.

Vitamin K2

What is Vitamin K2?

Vitamin K2 belongs to fat-soluble vitamins It is an important activator of many enzymes and proteins It shows a positive action on calcium balance by activating MGP protein and osteocalcin. This results in the removal of calcium deposits from blood vessel walls and transport of ions of this element to the area where it fulfills its function – teeth and bones. It reduces therefore the calcification of blood vessels and thus the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, it is a constituent of coagulation factors and cosequently prevents haemorrhages. It shows a synergistic action in combination with vitamin D and magnesium.

Vitamin K2 in the form of a dietary supplement of renowned brands e.g. Now Foods, Swanson, Life Extension, Jarrow Formulas and Thorne Research) can be found in formulas available at
