Best Tocotrienols 50mg Best Tocotrienols 50mg

Doctor's Best Best Tocotrienols is a unique supplement that contains natural forms of vitamin E, i.e. a mixture of tocopherols and tocotrienols.

Best Tocotrienols is a dietary supplement valued mainly for strong antioxidant and anticancer properties and which also promotes a healthy heart, brain, liver, bone and skin. This uniqe preparation improves the function of blood vessel walls and helps maintain normal cholesterol levels.

Vitamin E is a group of organic chemical compounds that includes tocopherols and tocotrienols. Their common feature is the bicyclic structure of 6-chromanol and side chain built of 3 isoprene units. It is one of the fat soluble vitamins and a major antioxidant found in the cells.

Tocotrienols contained in vitamin E are 300%  better and more effectively absorbed compared to tocoferols. The richest source of tocotrienols is red palm oil from trees Elaeis guineensis

Recent studies on the underrated forms of vitamin E provided new ways to fight with risk factors for the occurrence of a number of diseases.

Tocotrienols and cancer
During the research, it has been observed that after the supplementation of tocotrienol there was a significant extension of life expectancy in mouse with pancreatic cancer, which in humans is considered to be one of the most aggressive and terminal types of cancer and survival rate of patients is expressed in months.

What's more, tocotrienols cause apoptosis – a programmed death of cancer cells, which can prevent the tumour from having "a foothold" in the body. Apoptosis is also an essential factor in reducing existing cancer, which may explain the increasing use of tocotrienols (alone or with conventional chemotherapy drugs) for the treatment of patients.

Improvement of the lipid profile
Tocotrienols can help lower cholesterol levels in blood plasma by blocking the HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme is involved in the production of cholesterol and its inhibition is therefore an effective method reducing cholesterol levels in the blood. In fact, common statin drugs, used to reduce the concentration of blood lipids, work in a similar way, however, they block the HMG-CoA reductase using a different mechanism.

Reduction of homocysteine levels
Tocotrienols reduce also homocysteine levels in the blood which is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

During research conducted on rats, scientists have observed that rich in tocotrienols supplementation – administered to reduce homocysteine levels in the plasma – turned out to be more effective than folic acid.

Protection against ischemia
Tocotrienols are also helpful in the case of blocked vessels – ischemia, which is generally associated with the development of a heart attack or stroke. This was confirmed by a study conducted in rabbits, in which the supplementation lowered not only lipids levels, but also protected against damage caused by myocardial ischemia, initiated in the laboratory. The result was particularly due to alpha- and gamma-tocotrienols which greatly reduced the area of damage to the heart.

Protection from brain damage caused by stroke
Acute ischaemic stroke (reduced blood flow to the brain area) is the leading cause of deaths and disability worldwide. As confirmed by studies carried out in animals, tocotrienol taken orally prevents and minimises the damage caused as a result of the stroke.

Relief of symptoms of metabolic syndrome
Promising pre-clinical studies revealed that tocotrienols can reverse many changes found in the metabolic syndrome, affecting the improvement of the lipid profile, reduction of atherosclerotic lesions, lowering the levels of glucose and glycation end products in the blood, normalisation of blood pressure and inhibition of new fat deposits. At the functional level, they support the function of the heart muscle, improve glucose and insulin tolerance as well as reduce the infiltration of inflammatory cells to the heart.

Tocotrienols and diabetes
Using different mechanisms, diabetes affects the acceleration of the ageing process. In fact, up to 80% of diabetics die from atherosclerotic disease, such as heart attack or stroke. Fortunately, numerous studies conducted on animals confirm a therapeutic role of tocotrienols in the treatment of patients suffering from diabetes.

Tocotrienols and liver diseases
Apart from increasing amount of data confirming that tocotrienols are effective in the fight with liver cancer, there is compelling evidence for its efficacy in the treatment of nonalcoholic liver disease (NAFLD). In the case of this condition, fat depositing in the liver can lead to inflammation, failure or even the formation of tumour.

Tocotrienols and healthy bones
Tocotrienols are deemed to be the main factors that increase bone density and inhibitors of bone loss.

Research shows that tocotrienols have 50 times more antioxidant potential than tocopherols, and the recent experiment indicates that the delta fraction (included in the supplement Doctor's Best Best Tocotrienols) has a much more beneficial effect on the correct levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and healthy cells.

To sum up, tocotrienols belong to the group fat-soluble vitamins that brings such benefits as: lowering cholesterol levels, reducing stiffness of the arteries, improvement of the ventricular systolic function as well as regression of atherosclerotic lesions. Therefore, when selecting the preparation Doctor's Best Best Tocotrienols, you choose the purest form of easily absorbed tocopherols and tocotrienols, positively affecting the whole body.

Vitamin E

Information

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat soluble. Due to its antioxidant action, it is a protection of other vitamins (e.g. Vitamins A). Protects the body against free radicals, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and its capacity, causing their dilation and dissolution of blood clots. With the reduction of coagulation, it is used as an antiatherogenic medicine, it allows for the proper course of pregnancy. In cooperation with selenium it slows the ageing process of cells, strengthening connective tissue. In the food it is present in whole-grain bread, sprout and grains, vegetable oils (soybean, sunflower), soya beans and sunflower seeds, vegetable fat and hen egg yolks. Also it is used in sports medicine in the form of nutrients and supplements.
Vitamin E deficiency reduces building of red blood cells, results in changes in muscle and disorders of pregnancies.
Dosage: for children, 0.5 mg / 1 kg of weight; for adults 10-30 mg per day.

D-alpha-tocopherol

Information

D-alpha-tocopherol – a natural form of vitamin E which is indicated as the most optimum for supplementation. It helps correct effectively deficiencies of this compound which is extremely crucial for the human body.

Vitamin E is a very important bioactive substance found in many tissues and required for normal functioning of the body. Its deficiencies may be manifested by impaired cognitive abilities and vision, muscle weakness and infertility. It is involved in erythropoiesis and that is why its low intake may lead to anaemia.

In addition, vitamin E has an important role as an antioxidant in the human body. It has the ability to reduce the amount of free radicals, thereby decreasing negative oxidative stress.

During supplementation with d-alpha-tocopherol, we should remember that it belongs to fat-soluble compounds, along with vitamin A, D and K. Because of that, supplements with vitamin E should be taken with a fat-containing meal.

Palm oil

Information

Palm oil obtained from oil palm Guinea (Elaeis guineensis) has a red colour due to the high content of beta-carotene, at room temperature it has a semi-solid consistency. It is the source of saturated fatty acids (myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid), unsaturated fatty acids: monosaturated oleic acid and multisaturated linoleic acid. In addition to beta-carotene contains sterols, glycolipids, coenzyme Q10, lycopene, tocotrienols and vitamin E is an antioxidant.
Palm oil supplement is used as a filler preparations containing substances
soluble in fat. Available for purchase at: www.muscle-zone.pl
