BeOrganic Acai Berries is a product that includes powdered acai berry pulp. It was made using organic fruit from the unique acai variety – Euterpe Precatoria. The product is GMO-free, does not contain added sugar, and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Acai is a small, edible fruit, called the treasure of the Amazon. Tribes living in the Jungle treat them as a tasty and extremely nutritious element of their daily diet. They also use them for medicinal purposes. Scientists examining the phytochemical composition and properties of these fruits emphasize that they have not encountered so far any plant raw material that contains so many health-promoting components.

A unique variety of acai
Two prevailing palm species produce acai fruit – Euterpe olearacea (EO) and Euterpe precatoria (EP). They differ from one another e.g. by phytochemical composition. Palm trees of the Euterpe olearacea species bear larger fruit, which is why they are more willingly grown. However, the fruits produced by Euterpe precatoria have been scientifically proven to outperform Euterpe olearacea in terms of its antioxidant potential. In each test (ORAC, DPPH, CAP-e, SEAP), EP fruit pulp proved much better than EO. What's more, it turned out that EP fruit extracts are richer in polyphenols, capable of inhibiting NF-kB, which translates into a strong anti-inflammatory effect. Such properties were not seen with EO acai berries.

Acai as a functional food
Small acai berries contain an amazing number of various nutrients that have a beneficial effect on the human body and contribute to the improvement of health. They contain a set of the most important vitamins and minerals, with lots of vitamins A, E, and iron. As to compare with other fruits, acai berries provide little sugar but are distinguished by a high content of fiber. Besides, they are a source of protein with an excellent amino acid profile. Noteworthy is also their content of fatty acids, the composition of which is comparable to olive oil. The healing properties of acai are primarily due to the various types of polyphenols present in the fruit, especially flavonoids and anthocyanidins.

In summary, BeOrganic Acai Berries is a high-quality product, 100% natural. It is a great way to enrich your diet with numerous nutrients and health-promoting substances.
