1-Testosterone (17β-hydroxy-5α-androst-1-en-3-one) is a steroid compound also known as dihydroboldenone, shortly referred to as DHB, 1-T and 1-Test. It is a metabolite of another, commonly known derivative of testosterone, that is boldenone. However, dihydroboldenone is much stronger than boldenone in terms of muscle mass growth, strength, and improvements of body shape achieved with its help. Thanks to negligible susceptibility to conversion, it does not cause sudden spikes of 5a-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, which helps to avoid mood swings or tendency to aggressive behaviours. The fact that it does not convert to DHT can give somewhat smaller effects in reality than lab tests suggest. In spite of that, the preparation can cause some symptoms, such as blemishes and hair loss, but the range of those side effects differs between individuals. That means that in some, they may not occur at all. The most commonly reported side effects of its use are drowsiness and fatigue, whose mechanism still has not been entirely understood.
