Pathogen Pathogen

Outbreak Pathogen is a dietary supplement which is a new solution for training support. It consists of multi-ingredient and complex formula that adds energy and strength and supports the nervous system. Cutting-edge ingredients have been also used in this supplement, including DMHA (2-amino-methylheptane), a successor of the already banned DMAA.

The product includes:

L-Citrulline Malate – a modified version of citrulline which increases its bioavailability by a natural combination with malic acid. Citrulline increases itself the production of nitrogen oxide. This results in the relaxation of blood vessels and their vasodilation (causing a muscle pump). It facilitates blood flow which is essential for optimum oxygen circulation in the body (this is critical to normal exercise capacity). It also reduces fatigue (decreases the accumulation of ammonia, an indicator of muscle fatigue) and improves the utilisation of energy. In addition, it may have a positive effect on muscle protein synthesis by stimulating directly the mTOR pathway.

Beta Alanine – a modified molecule of the amino acid alanine. The basic mechanism of action is to boost carnosine levels in muscles which contributes to an increase in exercise capacity (predominantly endurance capacity). This is due to the fact that carnosine prevents excessive muscle acidification (acts as a pH buffer) in response to the formation of lactic acid during a workout.

Choline bitartrate – maily provides choline to the body. Choline is a substrate in the synthesis of acetylcholine, one of the most important neurotransmitters in the body. It is also an indirect substrate in methylation processes in the body (is a precursor of trimethylglycine which is a direct donor of methyl groups) that are responsible for many essential life functions. In terms of physical activity, it is the most important that it is involved in the formation of new proteins in the body.

Potassium Nitrate – this ingredient provides two components which are vital in life processes. Potassium is an essential macroelement in the body and supports mainly a healthy cardiovascular system and brain by preventing blood clots. The nitrate group is responsible mainly for an increase in the production of nitrogen oxide which enhances the muscle pump and consequently vasodilation.

It boost also significantly training performance. It increases energy efficiency (it decreases exercise energy expenditure; it is also initially stated that it increases the use of ATP and creatine during movement and muscle tension).

Caffeine anhydrous – the most known and popular stimulant which increases energy levels. It is also classified as an nootropic because it sensitises neurons to improve the effectiveness of their response and stimulates the whole nervous system.

Its basic mechanism is that it is an antagonist for adenosine triphosphate-dependent potassium channels. They are directly responsible for a feeling of relaxation. When they are blocked by caffeine, there is a general improvement in perception and increase in stimulation.

This mechanism contributes to many positive effects on training. It delays fatigue and therefore increases the efficiency of both long-term aerobic and shorter anaerobic physical activity. The studies show also that it can improve maximum strength.

In addition, caffeine may increase the release of testosterone during training.

Theacrine – a relatively new ingredient of supplements which helps increase stimulation.

Theacrine molecule is a derivative of caffeine (they differ in that theacrine has two extra groups – a ketone and methyl group). Consequently, they show very similar functions – their basic mechanism is also the blockage of adenosine channels, thereby providing stimulation, promoting well-being (increased dopamine release), reducing fatigue and stress.

The most important feature of theacrine, which differentiates it clearly from caffeine and most stimulants, is the lack of tolerance build-up (an increase in the tolerance to theacrine throughout the study) and much less side effects (among others, elevated blood pressure or adverse responses of the nervous system caused by stress or anxiety are not observed).

Theobromine – the primary mechanism of action of theobromine is to increase cAMP levels in the bloodstream (by inhibiting phosphodiesterase that breaks down cAMP). cAMP is one of the most crucial signalling molecules in the body, responsible for many energy processes, including glycolysis and lipolysis (which increases the availability of free fatty acids for energy purposes). It shows also the ability to block adenosine channels (although to a lesser extent than caffeine and theacrine).

2-Amino-5-Methylheptane (DMHA) – the newest substance in the product which is a response to the already banned and infamous DMAA (1,3-dimethylamine). It shows very similar effectiveness in stimulating the body (in terms of structure, it shares with DMAA the so-called phenethylamine scaffold and may thus activate TTAAR1).

The basic mechanism of DMHA is to boost dopamine and norepinephrine levels, thereby increasing euphoria and alertness. It also reduces pain and helps also thus train harder.

The efficacy od DMHA is due to the fact that is can more easily cross the blood-brain barrier. What is more, its effects last long enough (its structure slows down the release of the molecule by the enzyme MAO in such a way that it does not cause an adverse reponse of the dopaminergic system, which is a frequent problem while using DMAA) and decreases the re-uptake of noradrenaline and adrenaline. All these effects are due to an extra methyl group in this compound.

In addition, it is an extremely safe substance. It does not have such negative effects as elevated blood pressure and cause anxiety states and mental breakdown.

To sum up, Outbreak Pathogen is a perfect choice for individuals looking for new experience in pre-workout supplementation. The formula is extremely strong, not only due to effective ingredients but also their correct, potent doses. The product stands out because of the lack of unnecessary fillers which function almost like a placebo. Tested and very potent substances only.

Citrulline malate

Information

Citrulline Malate is formed by combining molecules of the citrulline amino acid and molecules of malic acid in one molecule, which has the chemical stability and is well soluble in liquids. Ionized malic acid has the ergogenic potential, providing a complementation to the citrulline potential of with new properties. It improves the exercise capacity and reduces the feeling of fatigue, and its supplementation is beneficial at any level of fitness. It affects the acid-base balance. It should be used by people who practice sports: strength, endurance and mixed strength-endurance. To achieve the best results, a dose of Citrulline Malate 6 g / 24h is recommended.
It is available as single-ingredient supplements and multi-component supplements (creatine stacks, no-boosters, amino acid supplements). It is used in the periodic, cyclic and constant supplementation.
Dosage: 3-8 g daily (in divided doses). The optimal dose to achieve beneficial results, proven experimentally, is 6 g / 24h.

Alanine

Information

Alanine is an endogenous amino acid (i.e. having the ability to synthesize the human body other amino acids and pyruvate), building up protein. It has a key role in the transport of nitrogen between the muscles and the liver (i.e. Cahill cycle). It allows to transform glucose in non-sugar compounds. During prolonged exercise it enhances metabolism. It occurs in products of animal origin (meat, dairy, eggs) and vegetable origins (legumes, peas). It is used in the form of amino acid supplements in pre- and post-workout preparations. It complements the BCAA. Increased use of supplements with alanine is required in athletic training when high strength and endurance is required (e.g. weights lifting athletes marathon runners etc.).

Choline Bitartrate

Information

Choline bitartrate a combination of one molecule of tartaric acid and choline, and in this embodiment is a precursor of acetylcholine (neurotransmitter). The human body is able to intracellular synthesis of choline, using the amino acid and vitamin B12. Because of the possibility of shortages of the above mentioned substances, it is necessary to supplement them with supplementation. Choline is a component of lecithin, which is the building substance of cells conditioning the proper functioning of the nervous system, and sphingomyelin, acting as an insulator of nerve tissue. Bitartrate affects the course of fat metabolism. In the sports supplementation of choline, bitartrate is used in the stimulating supplements,, affecting concentration and programs of weight control (fat reduction).
Dosage: 1-3 grams per day.

Potassium

Information

Potassium and sodium regulate the body's water resources, ensuring normal heart rhythm. Maintaining the proper level of potassium provides the proper oxidation of the brain, lowers blood pressure, increases the permeability of cell membranes (as an antagonist of calcium). It is a base-forming element. It is widely used in sports diet before and after training in the form of supplements, nutrients, vitamin-mineral preparations and minerals, concentrates and ready, isotonic and hypertonic beverages. Natural sources of acquisition of potassium are: vegetable products (bananas, citrus fruits, melons, mint leaves, green vegetables, potatoes) and animal products (sea fish, meat). Potassium is present in the form of organic compounds: citric acids, and fumarates gluconates and inorganic (chlorides, sulfates, oxides and carbonates).
Potassium deficiency (hypokalemia): excessive tiredness, headaches and irritability, problems with sleeping, muscle cramps, constipation. Potassium levels may drop sharply in the event of a reduction in blood sugar levels, prolonged starvation, severe diarrhea. They can occur when too much of strong coffee is consumed, with alcohol abuse and when eating too much sweets.
The excess of potassium (hyperkalemia) is often the cause of depression, hypotension, tingling in the extremities.

Caffeine

Information

Caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, 1-methylotheobromine) is a purine alkaloid occurring in the natural state in plants (Coffea arabica, Camelia sinensis, Paulinia cupana, Ilex paraguariensis), which acts as a natural pesticide, acting toxic to insects. Peculiar smell and taste also deters herbivores. Caffeine in the body inhibits the adenosine receptors in the brain, fighting fatigue and allowing for action activation. It has a beneficial effect on the metabolism of oxygen, which increases the exercise capacity (strength and endurance) and rapid post-workout recovery. In the sports supplementation, caffeine is used as a stimulant nervous system. It has the thermogenic potential and in combination with other substances (e.g. Polyphenols, both occurring in coffee beans, such as cocoa beans, tea leaves and mate) can effectively participate in the reduction of body fat. It is included in many dietary stimulants (creatine stacks, no-boosters, beverages). It is a component of fat burners. It is also in the form of mono-preparation supplements.
Dosage: 100-600 mg per day. Due to the long release of activity should not be used in the evening, before
sleep.

Theobromine

Information

Theobromine (3,7-Dimethylxanthine) is a purine alkaloid, poorly soluble in water, present in cocoa beans, as well as the leaves of yerba mate, tea, coffee, cola and peanuts. It is a diuretic, lowers blood pressure and improves brain function (dilates the blood vessels of the brain). Also expands the blood vessels throughout the circulatory system, preventing atherosclerotic changes. Sometimes it is used in slimming diet. Combined with caffeine and polyphenols becomes thermogenic. In the sports supplementation formulations containing theobromine are used diuretics and fat burners. It is a component of thermogenics, pre-workout creatine stacks, as well as nitrogen boosters.
