APS Mesomorph is a versatile pre-workout preparation that combines three complexes, each of which has a different spectrum of action. The first of these increases the amount of carnosine and nitric oxide, and it includes beta-alanine, L-citrulline malate, and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate. The second complex enables the growth of intracellular ATP stores; it consists of di-creatine malate, creatine nitrate, L-taurine, creatine sodium phosphate, agmatine sulphate, and ascorbic acid. The third one is a mix of stimulants containing glucuronolactone, caffeine, theobromine, naringin, and Geranium oil extract.

Beta-alanine is one of the substrates in the synthesis of carnosine. Carnosine is a dipeptide constituting about 0.2-0.5% of the mass of some skeletal muscles, where it acts as a compound that maintains the acid-base balance. The use of beta-alanine in sports supplementation increases muscle endurance, allowing for extension of the exercise series during strength workouts and allows to increase the intensity during speed and strength sessions. In addition, it supports muscle regeneration, reduces lactic acid accumulation, and improves muscle contraction.

L-citrulline malate and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate are substances that enable the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), the discovery of which led to a revolution in physiological and pharmacological studies over the last two decades. NO plays an important role in many systemic functions that regulate the dilation of blood vessels, blood flow, and mitochondrial respiration. Knowledge of exercise physiology makes it possible to state that an increase in NO production may increase the supply of oxygen and nutrients to working muscles, thus improving tolerance to physical exercise and regeneration. In addition, the increased blood supply to the working muscles results in a noticeable effect of their "pumping", which increases the psychological motivation of the exercisers.

Agmatine is formed from arginine and is characterized by a much stronger stimulation of nitric oxide synthesis than the compound from which it derives. Agmatine also helps to regulate hormone secretion, shows a beneficial effect on the proper activity of neurotransmitters and normalization of blood sugar levels. In addition, several other valuable properties are attributed to agmatine, including the effects on the secretion of adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine, improvement of concentration, reduction of cortisol levels, and the increase of sensitivity to stimulants.

Creatine is one of the most popular ergogenic agents for athletes. In muscle tissue, it binds to phosphate that forms phosphocreatine. The reaction is catalyzed by creatine kinase and the result is the formation of phosphocreatine (PCr), which binds to adenosine-5'-diphosphate (ADP), converts it back to adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP), which is a source of cellular energy for short-term needs. Studies unanimously show that supplementation with creatine increases its concentration inside the muscles, leading to the improvement of anaerobic capacity during short-term high-intensity exercise, which results in the acceleration of training adaptation.

The preparation consists of 3 different forms of creatine: malate, nitrate and sodium phosphate. Each of these forms is distinguished by different time and degree of bioavailability in the body, which ensures even saturation of the muscle tissue after each ingestion of the preparation. Alanine is an endogenous amino acid (i.e. having the ability to synthesize the human body other amino acids and pyruvate), building up protein. It has a key role in the transport of nitrogen between the muscles and the liver (i.e. Cahill cycle). It allows to transform glucose in non-sugar compounds. Arginine is an exogenous amino acid, it is a component of dietary proteins, not always synthesized in the human body in necessary quantity, so it is necessary to deliver it in the form of synthetics. It is a strong antioxidant; it reduces the amounts of free radicals, which reduces oxidative stress, a factor leading to cell apoptosis, which is why it is indicated to be a cause for premature ageing.

It supports the immune system functions and increases body system immunity. It is an essential element of the collagen synthesis path, which is why it positively affects the condition of connective tissue. Hence, it promotes also wound healing and increases the durability of capillary vessel. It is involved in transformations of tyrosine and carnitine as well as of some nutrients, so that it affects metabolism. It can also have an impact on the nervous system functions, as it reduces mental fatigue.

Higher supply of vitamin C is especially recommended in the periods of more intensive body system burden, after infections and in order to accelerate regeneration. The indications for increased supply of the vitamin are also hard physical work or intensive trainings.



Agmatine is created in the release of carbon dioxide acids (decarboxylation) in the brain, small intestine, adrenal gland, kidney and liver, and is a metabolite of arginine endogenous enzyme (synthesized by human and animal organisms). The effect on the human body is not fully explored. According to the studies conducted so far show the features of andrenergic imidazole receptors. The proper availability in the body increases the activity and may affect the lipolysis process and the synthesis of nitric oxide. Not occurring in the natural, but in the combination with other oxides of nitrogen (arginine and citrulline), it has become one of the basic components of keratin stacks, NO boosters and pre-workout products, widely used in sports supplementation.




Fat is an essential nutrient plant and animal organisms.
