Seeking Health DIM + I3C is a complex of indole compounds, naturally appearing in plants from the cabbage family. The main active ingredients are: diindolylmethane and indole-3-carbinol, appreciated for modifying estrogen level and effective anticancer prophylaxis.

Diindolylmethane constitutes a metabolic product of indole-3-carbinol, produced in the human organism under the influence of acidic environment in the stomach. It constitutes a bioactive form, directly influencing certain metabolic processes. In supplementation, precursor form of this compound turns out to be less effective. The combination of DIM and I3C constitutes the best assimilable combination. Thanks to obtaining the substrate for the production of the preparation only from natural sources, in the product Seeking Health, there are also other indole compounds, which occur in cabbage vegetables, increasing even more the bioavailability of the active substances.

The influence of DIM on estrogen metabolism
Diindolylmethane is appreciated due to its unique properties of regulating the level of estrogens in blood, both towards the increase of its concentration and the decrease. Lower doses limit the secretion and activity of estrogens, both by inhibiting the activity of aromatase and by transforming them to the forms exhibiting weaker effect in the organism. DIM stimulates the process of 2-hydroxylation, thanks to which, from precursor forms of estrogens, their metabolites with a limited strength of effect appear.

On the other hand, by the stimulation with diindolylmethane, we may cause increased secretion of estrogens. Large portions of DIM stimulate the secretion of phase I enzymes, which stimulate the activity of aromatase. In this way, higher amount of testosterone is converted to estrogens.

Solution to low testosterone level
Increased activity of aromatase is the most common cause of lowered concentration of free testosterone in blood. DIM, by limiting its functioning, is also a great substance allowing to control the level of this male sex hormone. It will work especially well as supplementation support in the ailments directly related to the excessive activity of aromatase, such as prostate diseases, gynecomastia or gynoid obesity.

Cancer prophylaxis
Diindolylmethane stimulates the activity of an enzyme ataxia-telangiectasia mutated. It is a natural tool in the organism which repairs DNA in case of damaging the chain. In this way, DIM protects the organism from developing cancers, as a result of mutation around cell genome. Moreover, the influence on regulating the level of sex hormones also plays an important role in the prophylaxis of breast and prostate cancer.

Seeking Health DIM + I3C is and effective supplement allowing to derive all benefits resulting from regulated balance of sex hormones. In women, it allows to regulate sex functions, resulting from proper estrogen level, while in men, it secures from the excess of the female hormone, simultaneously increasing the amount of free testosterone in blood.
