Yohimbine HCL Yohimbine HCL

MAN Yohimbine HCl is a dietary supplement containing yohimbine - an indole alkaloid obtained from the bark of a tree called yohimbame (Corynanthe yohimbe).

The product is intended for people who while struggling for a perfect figure have encountered a kind of an obstacle in the form of so-called ‘resistant’ fatty tissue. In the case of men, it is located mainly in the abdominal region, while in women in the lower parts of the body (buttocks and thighs).

Yohimbine is an indole alkaloid isolated from the bark of the Corynanthe yohimbe tree that occurs naturally in areas of Africa. It can also be obtained by chemical synthesis, resulting in the formation of yohimbine hydrochloride. It is this form of alkaloid that is most often used as an additional support when shaping the body, because, unlike natural extracts, it is safer and works more efficiently. In addition, it is free from impurities in the form of other plant alkaloids, which do not remain indifferent to the body.

How does yohimbine work
Yohimbine shows its slimming effect by blocking receptors α2-adrenergic and increasing the release of noradrenaline. Noradrenaline, next to adrenaline, is classified as catecholamines that affect various tissues and organs through adrenergic receptors of the α1, α2 and β1, β2 and β3 types. These receptors also have white adipocytes (mainly responsible for accumulating the stored fat) and brown adipose tissue whose main task is to participate in the thermogenesis process.

Stimulation and activation of β3-adrenergic receptors activates the enzyme - adenylate cyclase, leading to an increase in the amount of cyclic AMP, thereby stimulating fat burning. Unfortunately, these catecholamines also affect receptors α2-adrenergic, which activate proteins that inhibit the activity of the enzyme mentioned before, thus leading to a decrease in cAMP level, which in turn reduces fat burning. These are the receptors that occur in the ‘problematic’ areas, making it impossible to achieve the dream figure.

In pharmacology, however, we distinguish two types of substances – agonists-  molecules that connect to the receptor and cause reactions in the cell, and antagonists - substances that, after combining with the receptor, block it without causing the reaction. In the case of aforementioned receptors, the agonists are adrenaline and noradrenaline, while one of the antagonists is yohimbine. It blocks these receptors, and catecholamines do not have access to them. As a result, the level of noradrenaline increases, and its higher amounts may affect beta receptors, which not only facilitates the process of lipolysis in white, but also the process of thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue.

Yohimbine and libido
The ‘side effect’ of the use of yohimbine is an increase in libido and improvement in erectile strength. Aforementioned increase in noradrenaline results in vasodilatation of the arterial vessels, which in turn leads to a more efficient inflow of blood to the penis. In numerous studies on erectile dysfunction, yohimbine has been shown to be more effective than placebo, both when the problem is caused by anatomical issues (eg arterial insufficiency), and when the erectile dysfunction is psychological.

There is also a noticeable effect on the sexual drive itself, also in women. It deserves special attention because the subject of supporting sexual life with supplementation is connected mainly with men, and there are few preparations available for the fair sex on the market.

Yohimbine and well-being
In general terms, yohimbine by mobilizing the norepinephrine feedback mechanism, and consequently increasing its concentration in the body, mobilizes the brain and body to function. It clearly stimulates and also has a positive effect on the concentration and the process of remembering.

In summary, MAN Yohimbine HCl seems to be an ideal choice for people who care about their figure, especially those who struggle with reducing fat reserves. Additionally, its beneficial effects on sexual function, both in men and women, can not be disregarded.
