CLA with Green Tea plus L-Carnitine CLA with Green Tea plus L-Carnitine

Olimp CLA with Green Tea plus L-Carnitine is a dietary supplement that efficiently supports the process of weight loss. It contains synergistically active natural ingredients: conjugated isomers of linoleic acid (CLA), L-carnitine, and a green tea extract standardised to contain epigallocatechin gallate.

L-Carnitine is a vitamin-like compound found naturally in the body, particularly in muscle cells. The role of L-carnitine is transporting long-chain fatty acids formed in the process of fat breakdown to the mitochondrial matrix. That is where fatty acids are β-oxidised, which means their breakdown for the purpose of the production of essential cellular energy in the form of ATP.

L-Carnitine is, therefore, crucial for efficient burning of fats and proper muscle work, it facilitates energy production and helps to achieve better sports results. Moreover, it has been demonstrated that by contributing to the reduction of blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, L-carnitine has a beneficial effect on the lipid profile, as well as exhibits powerful antioxidant properties, thanks to which it prevents cell structures from oxidative damage.

Conjugated dienes of linoleic acid (conjugated linoleic acid, CLA) are fatty acids with a natural trans configuration, which is found in the fats of ruminants. Despite the trans configuration, however, they have a number of positive effects on the body. Above all, they exert a protective effect on the cardiovascular system and help to reduce excess body weight.

Numerous tests on animals have shown that including CLA in the diet helps to reduce body mass and adipose tissue levels, improve lipid metabolism, and prevent atherosclerosis. It is believed that a reduction of muscle mass and adipose tissue levels results from a number of mechanisms, including higher heat production by the body, inhibited adipocyte differentiation, lower adipose tissue deposition (through the inhibition of lipoprotein lipase), and the stimulation of β-oxidation in the skeletal muscles.

Green tea is one of the most popular beverages in the world and a very rich one: its active compounds include catechins, among which the most active and abundant are epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), polyphenols, and organic acids. The substances are responsible for the health-promoting effects of green tea, such as reducing free radicals, preventing aging, strengthening the body, and protecting the circulatory system. Moreover, thanks to the presence of EGCG, green tea effectively supports weight loss.

Green tea has a beneficial effect on the reduction of body mass and adipose tissue thanks to several mechanisms. First and foremost, it stimulates thermogenesis (heat production by the body), that way affecting an increase of resting metabolic rate and energy expenditure. Those effects stack with the thermogenic activity of CLA. Apart from that, green tea also affects fat and carbohydrate metabolism and improves insulin sensitivity.

In summary, Olimp CLA with Green Tea plus L-Carnitine is a complex preparation based on natural active compounds. It is recommended for supporting the reduction of body mass and adipose tissue for those who are trying to lose weight, struggle with overweight, are during the cutting stage, or train a lot and are physically active, as it can help to increase energy levels and training efficiency.

Linoleic acid

Information

Linoleic acid, the unsaturated Omega 6 fatty acid, is not intracorporeal synthesized, it is supplied in foods of plant origin (including sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, soybeans, hazelnuts, the seeds of grapes, etc.) and in foods of animal origin. It is involved in the biosynthesis of arachidonic acid needed for the production of prostaglandins. In a normal diet using the above food component it is sufficient and does not require support supplementation. Rarely used in dietary supplements, usually combined with EPA, DHA and ALA; It is a component of supplements containing essential fatty acids (EFAs), often in combination with vitamin E, which is protecting the fatty acids from oxidation. It is recommended to to take linoleic acid in proportion to the Omega 3 acids (in the range between of 1: 1 to 1: 5). As a component of cell membranes is responsible for the condition of the skin, hair loss, healing of cuts and small wounds. Studies confirm its effect on reducing the risk of heart disease. Preparations available at www.muscle-zone.pl
Dosage: the most important is to
keep the balance between Omega 3 and Omega 6 acids. When proportions are kept, the quantity is not significant.

CLA

Information

Conjugated linoleic acid CLA (cis-9, trans-11-octadecadienoic), - unsaturated fatty acid, an omega 6, which isomer of linoleic acid. The source of acquiring CLA is animal origin food (beef and high-fat milk products - including butter). Despite the incomplete research on its action in the human body, it is assumed that it has the antidiabetic, anticancer and anti-inflammatory effect. It speeds up the metabolic rate and reduces the activity of digestive enzymes and is used in weight loss diets that help shape the silhouette. Supplements containing CLA (or CLA mono-supplement) are recommended for people with different physical activity (from strength sports, to the low physical activity) for reduction of body fat and to improve body weight.
Dosage: 3-6 grams per day in divided doses with meals.

Green tea extract

Information

Green tea extract is a concentrate that contains biologically active compounds: polyphenols (e.g. catechin, in the form of EGCG - epigallocatechin gallate), having antioxidant properties and a small thermogenic potential, modifies the action of testosterone metabolites, DTH. Green tea extract is an ingredient of many sports supplements containing fat burners, having pro-health and vitaminizing effect; also for those with low physical activity as an antioxidant and slimming supplement. Available either as mono-preparations, ready drinks, and above all as an extract.
Dosage: 200-500 mg per day (depending of the content of other active bio-components).

EGCG

Information

EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) - a compound occurring naturally in the leaves of green tea and sage nutmeg. Powerful antioxidant resulting in removing free radicals out of your body. It has the thermogenic potential (enhanced when combined with other substances including caffeine, capsaicin, etc.), allowing a faster fat reduction. Affects preventively in the side effects of the glandular hypertrophy (prostate) and male pattern baldness. Recommended for those who are active physically and professionally, for the maintenance of body composition and body aesthetics. It is a component of fat burners, allowing for faster slimming.
Dosage: 50-500 mg per day.

L-Carnitine

Information

L-carnitine is a vitamin-like substance, synthesized in the body from amino acids (lysine and methionine) and available in foods of animal origin. It is a component of muscle (including cardiac muscle) and nerve tissue. Involved in the metabolism of fats affecting the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria of the cell, facilitating their burning and energy production. It is a potent antioxidant, contributing to the improvement of the aerobic condition and accelerating the recovery after intense exercise. Recommended for use for representatives of endurance sports. In the sports supplementation there are available mono-preparation of carnitine (in liquid form, acetylated [ALC], esterified [see. Propionyl-L-carnitine]) and multicomponent (e.g. in a complex with organic acids - see. L-carnitine tartrate) energetic, weight loss and improving the exercise capacity supplements, to be purchased at www.muscle-zone.pl
Dosage: 1 - 3 g per day in 1 - 3 doses, preferably about 45 - 60 minutes prior to exercise.
