AAKG AAKG

FSN AAKG is a source of arginine alpha-ketoglutarate in the form of powder, allowing to carefully individualize the dose. It stimulates the synthesis of nitric oxide, causing the creation of the so-called “muscle pump”.

L-arginine alpha ketoglutarate - in short called AAKG, is a salt created from the combination of the arginine molecule with ketoglutaric acid. Thanks to this, the largest disadvantage that this amino acid has is reduced - instability in the digestive system. AAKG demonstrates larger abilities to survive and being absorbed from the lumen of the intestines, thanks to which it constitutes a more effective form of arginine.

Arginine itself belongs to the group of 20 protein amino acids and is classified to the group of relatively endogenous amino acids. This means that the organism is able to synthesize it on its own, but the efficiency of this process turns out to be insufficient, especially in case of physically active people.

Training “pump”

The main reason, for which arginine is added to pre-workout stacks is the feeling called “muscle pump”, for which it is responsible. This feeling is the effects of its activity in the organism, consisting in the stimulation of the synthesis of nitric oxide. It demonstrates vasodilatory activity, which means that it increases the lumen of blood vessels. Thanks to this, venous-arterial flow is increased, which is reflected in better nourishment of peripheral tissues.

Better nourishment of skeletal muscles

Increased amount of blood reaching peripheral tissues is related to their better nourishment. It means a higher supply of energy substances, which in turn is related to more efficient energy production. Thanks to this, muscles are able to work more intensively and they are tired later. In this way, supplementation with arginine directly influences effort abilities.

Facilitated regeneration

Increased arterial-venous flow is not only a higher amount of nutritious substances reaching peripheral tissues, but also better turnover of metabolic products. It allows to facilitate metabolism at a cellular level, thanks to which arginine demonstrates positive influence on post-workout regeneration abilities.

Increased secretion of the growth hormone

The promotion of anabolism as a result of arginine supplementation is noticed not only as a result of higher intensiveness of training stimuli, but also due to its influence on the growth hormone with strong anabolic effect. It is indicated that AAKG supplementation increases the secretion of this hormone, especially in combination with such stimuli as physical activity and night rest.

Optimization of blood pressure

An interesting application of arginine is also its utilization in order to optimize blood pressure. Although at first it was indicated that this amino acid may decrease blood pressure, currently it is noted that it is more active towards people with excessively low values of this parameter.

To sum up, FSN AAKG is the supplement, the benefits of which may be derived by sportsmen of various disciplines, regardless of the profession. They intensify the nourishment of peripheral tissues, including also skeletal muscles, increasing their ability to more effective work. It is also conducive to regeneration processes and may intensify the synthesis of the growth hormone. In some cases, AAKG, as an effective form of supplementation with arginine, may be used to optimize blood pressure.

Arginine

Information

Arginine is an exogenous amino acid, it is a component of dietary proteins, not always synthesized in the human body in necessary quantity, so it is necessary to deliver it in the form of synthetics. It takes part in the biosynthesis agmatine, creatine and nitrogen oxides. The use of supplements containing arginine before workout increases the exercise capacity (strength, endurance). Used after considerable effort intensifies the transfer of energy and building compounds and intensifies the process of recovery. Used at bedtime in combination with lysine and ornithine enhances the synthesis of growth hormone. takes part in the intrasystemic synthesis of creatine. Arginine (as a precursor of ornithine) is involved in the urea cycle, increases the flow of blood in the circulatory system, increases sexual potency (in a short time after application). It affects the body's immunity preventing infections, and lowers blood pressure. In supplements – usually as alpha-ketoglutarate.
