The Complex Carbohydrates Blend,, is a combination of waxy starch, maltodextrin and trehalose. Carbohydrates (sugars), it can be divides into: monosaccharides (simple sugar), disaccharides (disaccharides), and polysaccharides (polysaccharides). The combination of different properties in terms of construction and ensuring the stabilization of the carbohydrate in blood glucose or maintain a GI or to the carbohydrate content in food "glycemic load". The measure of the body's insulin sensitivity is insulin index. Starch is a plant sugar spare particles composed of glucose produced in the process of photosynthesis (α-D-glucoses linked by α-1,4-glucosidic bonds), and is equivalent to the animal glycogen; belonging to the groups of basic carbohydrates. It consists of amylose and amylopectin. It is insoluble in water, after soaking swells making better filling of the gastrointestinal tract and slumps hunger. During the heating the starch is gelatinizing. Starches can be divided into: native (achieved e.g. potato, corn, wheat) and wax (e.g. In the waxy maize), which main component is amylopectin. Maltodextrin, complex carbohydrates derived from starch by enzymatic depolymerization, having a long and high bioavailability (bioavailability comparable to glucose). They are divided into low-sugered, medium-sugered, high-sugered and wherein each type has a high glycemic index (GI) - more than 80 to approx. 110. These are easily digestible source of energy, supporting the insulin metabolism, supplementing that improves muscle glycogen and creatine and amino acid transport into cells muscle influencing the exercise capacity increase.Trehalose is a disaccharide, a weaker availability of digestion than sucrose, slows digestion and absorption of nutrients by the body. The blend of complex carbohydrates is a component of the preparation Fighters Food by Nutrabolics, available at www.muscle-zone.pl
